Hazel Floral Sequin Long Sleeve Minidress

This dress is gorgeous. It immediately grabbed my attention online. I was unsure what size to buy and got both (M & L). For reference I am 5ft 4in and about 133lbs. I carry my weight around the mid section and was concerned about the dress being too tight in the waist. The chest I was not concerned about. The medium fit tight around the waist (to the point where although it zipped, it would be uncomfortable). The large fit better in the waist (though not a crazy amount of difference considering I went from medium to large) but much more comfortable. The chest area however is a little too big but I am going to see what I can do to make it work. The dress is stunning in person and really sparkly. I plan on wearing with sheer black tights and tall black suede boots. Fingers crossed I can make it work as I really don't want to return it. Also the sleeves have zippers at the bottom. Not sure what for as I wouldn't unzip them. You cannot see that in the pics online or when wearing the dress.

Truthful review - Purchased this dress last year but couldn’t get the zipper up. I was between size XL/XXL. Smart decision would’ve been to return it (no sale price), but I risked it and kept the dress. Fast forward to this past weekend, I needed a cocktail dress for an event that was themed black and purple. I’ve lose weight, currently fitting in L/XL and this dress FIT LIKE A GLOVE! I didn’t know anyone at this event yet I’ve never received so many compliments in one night! One even went out of her way to say if there was an outfit competition, I would have won. Never have I been more grateful for such a risky gamble.
