Haze Slide Sandal (Women)

This shoe is beautiful and looked like it would be very comfy with its low block heel and fabric upper. Sadly, looks can be deceiving. The footbed is patent leather, which acts like slippery glass in sweaty summer heat. The toe post is meant to prevent your foot from slipping, but you can't help but slip with every step on the slick footbed, slamming painfully against the toe post which also seems to be set back a bit too far. Walking becomes alternating motions of toes slamming forward then wriggling backwards off the post, making the front edge of the fabric upper rub the top of your foot and toes raw (see pic). They're true to size, a perfect height, and look gorgeous. But the slippery insole, misplaced toe post, and fabric upper with no give or stretch make it unwearable if you intend to take even a few steps

These shoes are lovely with just the right heel height, and fun metal detailing. My regular size, 9 fit well, even with my wide feet. They look great with skinny jeans or a dress. I wanted desperately to keep them but the little piece of leather that they added was squishing my big toe. Why did they feel the need to add that piece of leather? They went back.
