Perfect Flip Flop
The "top" sandal has just the right amount of cushion to be comfortable. They look cute and are a must have in black!
Sizing: These were ordered for my daughter (size 9) and I tested them (size 10). Our feet are a little narrow as well. Based on other reviews, I ordered the larger size (41) but it was totally unnecessary. I re-ordered and got the size 39 which fit perfect for a regular size 9. Even for me (size 10), the 41's were a bit long/wide.

not made for big feet
I purchased a pair of the "41" size ... which are supposed to accommodate size 10/11. I am a size Women's 11 in everything, and have come to expect shoes to not fit. These are soooo small. They're great flip flops, but the sizing is all wrong. IN FACT, the flip flop itself says "US 9" ... so they DO NOT come anywhere CLOSE to fitting a size 10/11. It's really heartbreaking that the brand doesn't make a more traditional size variation.

Beware-Online Size Chart is Wrong!
I LOVE Havianas and have many, many pairs. I am a true size 8 and all of my Havianas are size 39/40. I ordered going by the online size chart even though the sizing seemed off to me and sure enough I had to return them. According to the chart a size 8 foot should wear a 37. These were WAY too small. Better to buy these in the store.

Basic flip flop but requires breaking in
These are good basic flip flops, but they require breaking in because the strap twists uncomfortably across your foot at first. I like the "slim" version of these flip flops better because they are comfortable from the first time you put them on.

Comfy and affordable
I love Havaianas so I knew what I was buying already. The strap on my previous pair had snapped in half after 1.5 years of wearing them so I purchased these and they work great! I'm an 8.5M and I ordered a 39 which is exactly the right fit. Also, there aren't any rough edges that will chafe - the rubber straps may rub a bit at first but it's nothing you don't quickly get used to.
