Waist Detail Fit & Flare Dress

This dress has a beautiful color and material that seems very high quality. It's conservative but also classy/chic - reminiscent of something Kate Middleton or Megan Markle would wear. Fit seems true-to-size (I ordered a size 6 and am 5'7" 145 lbs). The only negative was it came slightly wrinkled due to folding during shipping, so I'll have to iron it.

Pretty color but a bit more “purple” in real life than on my laptop. Unfortunately I had to send this back because it made me look heavy. The neckline and top of the dress fit perfectly. I have a hourglass/slight pear shape figure and this added bulk around my midsection. If you are thicker in the middle this dress may help hide a tummy. On me it created one. I am 5’8” and my weight is somewhere between 140-150. I wear a 34c and ordered a size 6. It was shorter in my than the model however I intended to wear it with black tights. A 6 fit me perfectly however it was just too much fabric at the waist. The tailoring was of good quality.

It’s a pretty dress. I like the detail on the waist, it really makes the waist look small. But my biggest complaint is that this is not the dress in the original picture. The first picture I saw has a dress with pockets, smooth fabric and fuller skirt. It has no pockets, fabric is more textured and skirt is less full. So given that I still do like it. I like the three quarter sleeves, length and color. Just wish it had pockets and the fuller skirt. I ordered a 12 and it’s a bit snug, but not bad.
