Pleated Waist Fit & Flare Dress

I am 5'2" and weigh 122lbs. I usually wear a 6P. I ordered the dress in a 6P and a regular 8 since those were the only two sizes available. The size 8 arrived first. It was very small. I couldn't even zip it all the way up. I thought maybe it was miss-labeled so I waited for the 6P to arrive. I could tell immediately that I would never be able to even try it on based on it's small appearance. Very nice dress. Well made but runs very small.

Although the dress was a good fit though the bodice, shoulders and waist, the unusually high waist with the gathers starting at the stomach was very unflattering. Would perhaps suit someone with a vary straight figure in order to add curves. The dress was good quality material but the zip was a little flimsy and it is annoying to have to pull a flimsy zip over the thick layers of material at the 'waist'.

Perks: really nice weighted fabric and lovely cut Cons: pleated waist sits high (and I have a high waist) and is a little tight I'm 5'2" with a 30" bust and 25" waist; I purchased a size 0P. It's not so tight that I'd be uncomfortable wearing it as a day dress but not sure I could eat anything and still feel comfortable.

Beautiful dress. Really like the fabric and drape, but runs small. I returned the 4 for a 6 and I'm a reliable 4 if not a 2.

I found the dress to run small in shoulder and sleeeves. The fabric is nice and the dress is versatile and can easily be dressed up or down. Unfortunately, the dress didn’t work for me.

Flattering dress but is very tight in the bodice. I am petite but have a decent breast area. Not huge but this was very tight in that area. I returned the 0P for a 2P and the larger size was still a little tight. I love the pleated waist and skirt so I'm going to keep it. Beautiful dress but better suited for smaller breasted women.
