Juliet Babydoll Chemise

Love this gown so much I came back and bought 2 more! It's a wonderful light, but slightly stretchy cotton fabric that feels almost weightless. Soft and smooth feeling, with just enough weight to it to hang nice. It's cool and comfortable to sleep in (hotflash ladies - you need this nightgown!) and doesn't tangle up during the night. The pleats make it a bit more modest, and the cut and length are very flattering on all figures. I've never spent this much on a nightgown but now I see - quality really does matter. It does not fit tightly, so you can order your normal size or if you are between sizes, size down. I wash in a garment bag in washing machine with like colors, cold water.

The material of this nightgown is amazingly soft and smooth. At 5'5" and 120 pounds, the size small was giant on me. I am exchanging for an XS, and hopefully that will fit better. I ordered this in white and black, and I reordered the black only, because the white was too sheer. I love that this is 100% cotton, as it is superior in my opinion to the cotton/poly blends. I think 100% cotton lasts longer.

I bought a black babydoll chemise several years ago that fits and drapes much better than this one. The prior one was 100% cotton with a little stretch, soft, and holds its shape. This new variety is also 100% cotton knit, slightly thinner, and pulls in a very unflattering way around the boobs. The pleats should lie flat and they are pulled noticeably sideways in both directions. Lower quality in 2025. I'd rather Hanro maintain their good reputation and charge a little. I probably won't ever buy a Hanro product again. Nordstrom buyers, are you paying attention to the dwindling quality? You are the first line of defense customers have to require manufacturers to maintain high quality. Buyers have so much power! If you told them this didn't meet your expectations for customers, I imagine they would rise to your requirement. Customer complaints after the fact probably mean nothing to them.
