Retro Thong

I bought these after gaining some weight & finding the plus-size Hanky Panky regular thong too big. (They also roll.) The Retro thong is very comfortable and does hold you in a bit, though not even remotely a shaper. They are quite high-waisted (much more so than in the photo), and I can't wear them with my midrise pants/jeans unless I've got a sweater on top. (They'll show through t-shirts & blouses.) If you're looking for something "invisible," don't buy these: there's a clear seam along the back & front where the lace "top" is sewn onto the thong part of the panties. It's not very noticeable, but it's there. (I've also tried the plus-size Commando high-waisted thong, but it rolls up terribly at the leg and rolls down at the waist.) The other thing I'd say is that I don't see how this thong would work for very full-figured women: I wear a misses size 16 and these fit me perfectly, but would be too snug if I gained much more weight. So although Hanky Panky labels them as being for sizes 14-24, I'm not sure about that. Overall, I like them a lot and have bought several pairs. If you're a bigger girl who likes a nice thong without the drawbacks of low-riders, this is for you. It's also the prettiest one out there.

I love these panties! I am a size 12/14 and have a small behind and larger tummy. These cover and smooth without feeling sucked in like a sausage. I can wear them on a good day or a bloated day without them rolling down or digging into my skin. Elastic lace is the entire panty instead of just at waist so makes for smooth and comfortable all day wear. Goes up high almost to belly button so it offers full coverage without looking like granny panties. I hand wash mine using Nordstrom lingerie wash and they have lasted me a long time. The lace is not itchy or clingy so I wear them under any outfit (jeans, dresses, workout gear or leggings). I did get a small hole in the lace when they accidentally went thru my washer but i just hand sewed it with the same color thread and it is not noticeable. I could wash them in the washer machine if they were not in the load with items that have zippers or velcro ( i think why mine got a hole). Overall, the best and only, all around, everyday wear panties!

I've worn Hanky Panky undies for several years and this is the first style I haven't liked. I'm normally a size 16 so I ordered the plus-size-its-all. At first I thought I was wearing them backwards because the crotch in the back is so narrow that it rides up where it shouldn't. So I tried wearing them with the label in the front, but the same thing happens. I wore one pair so I can't return it, but I'll return the remaining three unopened pair.

I love these thongs. The larger upper I was skeptical about but it doubles as a shaper and I love these panties!!!! I am a plus siz gal size 20 and the regular hankys were to tight and pulling in the buttocks. Hanky Panky with style, sexines, and coverage....I ordered more. you will love them!!!

So, I was SUPER skeptical because, you know, when a product lists something as, "one size fits all", it just ain't so, right? Boy, was I wrong! I'm normally a women's size 20 (and I'm super tall) and they fit perfectly AND were very comfortable (no riding up, no rolling down, no pinching or tugging) I will definitely be buying more as it has a COTTON gusset (okay, crotch) and that's super important too. Just ensure you wash these perfect panties in a lingerie bag, on delicate setting and, for goodness sake, DON'T throw 'em in your dryer; they're D E L I C A T E and, wonder of wonders, they ACTUALLY fit!!! I will be buying more.
