Comfortable and stylish
Comfortable and stylish. Great for my aging feet and knees. The footbed is firm, but comfortable with the leather lining and special sole and has good support. I have only worn them in the house, so I hope that the footbed will not feel too hard on longer walks outside. The top leather strap is stylish and holds my foot in place. I have medium/narrow feet, so this design works for me. The length is true to size. It would have been nice, if they had leather lining. Some of the navy color leaked a bit my foot. I am keeping them because I like the look and they feel quite comfortable.

Not sure what the secret is to breaking these in
I got these last summer and these rubbed my big toe so badly it was raw. This year I wore these for a couple hours to break in and have blisters. I love how the footbed feels, but I can't seem to break these in, so overall they've been a disappointment.

Sadly too small in Arch
Yes, I have a Uber high arch...I was sad these didn't fit. I am a huge Mephisto fan, and normally wear an 8.5 B in US sizes....for Eu, I sometimes size up to get the arch in the right place for me. So I order a 9 in these. They are returning to the Mother Ship, and I will stick with my Hannels.

So disappointed
As soon as I took these out of the box, I knew something was wrong. Mephisto, get your sizing and specs right if you want us to buy your shoes. Runs short even sizing up the half size and like the other posts, the band opening at the top/instep is too small. My foot width is normal with thin/bony thickness. Disappointed.
