Aveda Hand Relief: Glad Hands
I use hand cream year round, day and night, for skin and nail care and hydrating my hands. During cold and flu season constant handwashing is a must. Hand Relief is rich and creamy, with a light citrus floral scent, not greasy, forms a moisture barrier that is soothing and ultra-hydrating. Instant relief for dry skin patches on my hands. A one piece flip top cap would improve the tube packaging for ease of use on the go and at my nightstand. A value sized pump would be good to have at home, desk, and in the car.

CHANGE ???
I HAVE PURCHASED THIS ITEM FOR THE LAST THREE YEARS IN THE ORIGINAL FORMULA . FIRST YEAR I FOUND IT VERY MOISTURIZING , RICH, CREAMY, HYDRATING. I PURCHASED IT THE SECOND WINTER AND DID NOT FIND IT HAD THOSE QUALITIES AS MUCH BUT THOUGHT IT MAY HAVE BEEN THE TYPE OF FRAGRANCE I HAD PURCHASED- IT WAS OK. THIS YEAR I PURCHASED THE ORIGINAL FORMULA AGAIN AND IT SEEMS SADLY THE FORMULA HAS CHANGED. ANY DRUGSTORE HAND CREAM WOULD WORK AS WELL.THIS IS ANOTHER ICONIC PRODUCT THAT IT APPEARS AVEDA HAS TAMPERED WITH. SADLY I AM LOOKING FOR A REPLACEMENT .

Don’t understand all the high reviews? This feels like greasy hotel soap included in the mini toiletries. It’s overpriced for what it is and never sinks into the skin.

Favorite Hand Lotion...hands down!
I have tried many hand lotions over the years. I had one that I liked during the winter months and another that I used during the summer. That is until I started to use Hand Relief Hand Cream by AVEDA.
As a nurse I am washing my hands several times per day. My hands are exposed to alcohol based sanitizers, antibacterial cleansers and cleaning solutions to name a few items. I am constantly needing to apply lotion to keep my skin from breaking down. Most lotions go on too greasy, or wash off right away. I find that Hand Relief by AVEDA provides a balance of non-greasy, no heavy scent, and a decent ability to protect after a light washing.
I gave it four stars only because I feel there is always room for improvement. AVEDA could improve this product by finding a way to keep it on the skin a bit longer and providing a little more product for the money. If you can get past the price of this product I think you will be happy with your choice.

Love it!
My favorite hand cream. I only use it at bedtime though, because of the price. However, using it at that time resets my skin for the next day. It's never greasy but is very moisturizing and has a very light, natural scent that doesn't aggravate my fragrance allergies. I absolutely love this product!
