Michelle Ankle Boot (Women)

I got the Michelle in black in a women’s size 8. (5-27-26) The fit is perfect with cotton trouser socks on. In the Sofft brand I wear a 7&1/2 M. And in Born footwear I have shoes with a wide toe box in 7&1/2 and boots in 8 M/W that go over the calf & zip up. This shoe is stiff and the toe box is a little narrow which is initially rubbing along my big toe. Leather typically softens with wear so I am wearing them around the house a bit to see if the warmth of my feet will soften the leather. If I decide to keep them they will definitely need to be broken in which is always iffy in the long run. They also have a strong dye smell out of the box. So I haven’t decided yet if I will keep them or not.
