Side Slit Cardigan

This is exactly what I was looking for--lightweight, drapey, unfussy. I got it in black in my usual size M and it fits me like it fits the model, though on me the length is about an inch below my fingertips when my arm is hanging straight beside my leg. (I'm 5'8, typically a size 6/M top and bottom, 28.5" waist, 38.5" hips, athletic shoulders.) I find it easy to layer over sleeves, and the slightly sheer weave is pretty and breathable. As noted in the video, the sleeves are long, but I typically wear them rolled up, and they stay put nicely. I live in a warm climate, so this is pretty much a year-round piece for me.

I just ordered this in the tan & black, hoping to replace last year's version of my long Halogen linen blend sweaters. I ordered the large P, as that is what my three colors from last year are. I did notice the patch pockets weren't on this year's design, that's ok, but I failed to notice the length at 30-31' is 3" -4" shorter than last year's. The length from the prior design hits at a better spot and looks more elegant. This shorter length is not flattering for me. I hope Nordstrom will offer more colors, but with the same features or style as last year. Not sure of the model's height in the photo, but the sweater was much shorter on me.
