Scallop Detail Camisole

I was looking for camisoles to add to my closet for the summer. I ordered the medium in the purple spray. Love the color, great light lilac color; seems to be a theme for this summer. Love the price. I don't love the fabric. It's textured and doesn't have that softer flowing feel that other polyester camisoles have. Feels more structured than comfortable. I do agree that the bust is a little snug; I may have found the right strap length to balance that out (for reference; I wear a strapless 32 G Wacoal bra with my camisoles). I so wanted to love this because the scallops are lovely. Unfortunately the fabric is completely sheer. To make it worse, just below the neckline on the inside there's about an inch of lining, like a little flap of fabric which shows through fully. So you have a completely visible line all the way across the top. Absolutely horrible. Unwearable in white.

Per other reviews saying this top ran tight in the chest, I ordered my normal size M and a L since I’m a 32G. The M was snug in the chest, but not terribly tight, however (and maybe because it was tighter than it should have been), the neckline fit much higher than it shows on the model and came only a couple inches below my collar bone. It looked terrible. So then I tried on the L and I was just swimming in it! If the tag didn’t say L, I would have thought it was an XL. And on top of all that, the fabric was strange, kinda thick and crepey. Needless to say, this top went back.
