One Button Blazer

The thing fits as if it is sized down from a regular size proportion in all the wrong way. I am usually a PXS - PS in Halogen. Ordered a PXS, too big and had to order PXXS. With the PXXS, the shoulders are still a bit wide. The button is a tad too low, I am 5' w long torso and it almost hits my belly button. The length is as pictured but it flares out at the bottom in an unflattering way. it tapers in at the waist nicely, but from there downwards is where it looks weird. I think it's meant to be an oversized style, however, it's cut like a regular blazer so it looks weird. I think it would work great if it has a straighter cut instead of tapers in at the waist and flares out. The fabric and lining is nice for the sale price.

I bought this blazer to go with matching pair of trousers to make a suit. I am a graduate student and need to look presentable on interviews, but too expensive suits would just look out of place. This blazer fits my budget and will serve it's purpose very elegantly. The fit is great! I was worried about sleeves being too short. No need to worry! They are a perfect length! The material is substantial but for warmer weather. I am 5'6" and bought size according to Hallogen size chart (had to look it up separately). The fit is spot on! Great purchase for the price!

I knew I was going to return this blazer the minute it arrived. The fabric is that cheap synthetic that looks like you got it from the "nice" section of Target. It's soft, but just.....visibly cheap. The fit was strange too. I ordered my normal size, and wouldn't have been able to size down if I wanted to button it over my hips, and yet, the jacket was big elsewhere. The arms are quite wide, and the armholes are too low, which makes you look heavier than you really are in the torso.
