Crinkled Cashmere Wrap

After the fall Paris couture shows for 2013 I looked for this peony color- to go with a sweet couture suit in this color; This is it! The texture is elegant- it doesn't look wrinkled it looks like tiny pleats here and there. It is superbly soft- I put it on over a black cotton tee- it does not shed. The edges are perfectly finished. It is not so long you could wrap your head several times then your neck- no! It is the correct length to gently drape an average neck with ends that drape above the chest apex. Peony is a deep blush not coral not pink- somewhere uniquely between the two.

This material is very beautiful and I'm very happy with this purchase. Only concern is that this will only last one season at most before looking worn and old because the fabric is very delicate and snags easily.

Just bought the slate blue color and wore it to work one day...returned for the teal color that afternoon. Had to have at least TWO! This is such a gorgeous accessory. The size and weight makes it versatile - you can wrap several times for extra warmth or wear loose when the sun comes out. Tissue cashmere is super fragile so put jewelry on AFTER you get your scarf on the way you want it! And watch any rough clothing tags. Really, it is that fragile. But so worth it. Truly hope Nordstrom keeps this around. Would hate to make this a staple in my closet and for it to then be discontinued. Great job, Nordstrom! I will buy another later this fall! One request- can the Nordstrom accessory department start selling items to store accessories in our closets? Always wondering how best to keep them looking new. Thanks!

I've been debating getting this wrap for a while, but finally decided to buy it when it went on sale. It arrived quickly and is absolutely beautiful, but also absolutely the wrong color. I bought Grey Sconce based on another reviewer's recommendation and the screen shot and sadly, I'm not in love. I thought it would be much paler and luminous. I love a good pale grey and this is just not it for me--it's not completely dead looking, like cement grey (which I find very unflattering) but it's not lively enough to work with my skin tone. So I'm exchanging it for black, because I know I'll love it and wear it constantly. Otherwise this scarf is gorgeous--perfect weight for San Francisco/Northern California climate, delicate enough for dressy but could also go casual. It does look as if it will catch easily so I will be very careful of jewelry, but I know this is going to last me forever.

Bought the mint color, but brought it home and it had numerous snags and holes. Was able to work the fabric to repair all but one. Went back to the store and looked at the lilac and peony and both also had snags. These scarves will require careful attention while wearing them and I haven't decided if I am up for it. They are really beautiful though and so wonderful around your neck.

The photos online don't do justice to the colors of this scarf. Coral Sugar, aqua button and green spray are a bit brighter in person (depends on your monitor I guess). The lilac jacaranda and pink peony are also very pretty. This scarf is really heavenly soft and drapes very nicely. There is a lot of material to work with, but as it is made of such thin fibers it will catch jewelry easily (in store there's even a warning that asks you to remove jewelry before trying it on).
