Crewneck Cashmere Sweater

I bought this sweater in a V-neck in olive green at the end winter last year and in orange this year, and the pink crew neck so this is the first season I've worn them. I'm really disappointed in the quality. The fabric "pills" (forms balls) under the arms...within the first couple hours of wearing it. The olive one I wore w/out a coat and my purse had green cashmere all over it and the sweater looked worn the first time I wore it. Today I wore the pink one and made sure to wear a jacket over it, but it's already pilling under the arms. Very disappointed for a Nordstrom product.

This sweater was skimpy and the cashmere fabric was thin. It felt cheap, very itchy, and was an extremly small "extra large". I returned it, and do not recommend it. I was very disappointed and still need a black cashmere sweater!

this soft sweater, purchased on sale was a great value. unfortunately, while the petite sizing fit me in terms of length (S), the sizing was tight in the bust area (I wear a 34 D). So, if you're a bit busty or have developed shoulders, order this sweater up one size.

I wore the sweater once and it begsn to shed and get burries all over it. The quality is very poor. I purchased 4. I didn't even wear the others. I returned them all.

I paid the sale price for this sweater so can say it was worth the price. It got my normal size of XL and it fits perfectly. The material is thinner than any other cashmere sweater I own. The neck opening is much bigger than expected. I think this would be fine on a chilly day but not very warm during the freezing winters here. I would never pay full price for this but it's a decent purchase when on sale.

I've purchased a few Halogen cashmere sweaters - a couple of V-Neck, and now my second crew neck style. The quality of the cashmere is not great, but, what can you expect at ultra low prices? What is good about the sweaters is the softness and comfort from a light-weight sweater. I wash almost everything, including sweaters - the Halogen do not wash successfully. As other reviewers say, they start "pilling" after the first wash. Also, they tend to shrink a little even in a delicate cold cycle. But, the care instructions DO say " dry clean". I did dry clean one sweater, and it looks really nice - no "pilling" or shrinking. I gave the sweater 4 stars for price, color and comfort and for running true to size. I normally order medium to allow for shrinkage (I'm 5'3' & 112 lbs). Even the medium did too much shrinking to be really comfortable. Therefore, I now ordered a large. There isn't all that much difference between the two sizes, actually. Halogen cashmere sweaters are worth the price for me.
