Corbin Genuine Calf Hair Slide Loafer

I'm a size 7. They were out of a size 7 & a 7.5 at the time of purchase so I reluctantly ordered an 8. To my surprise the size 8 fit just right length wise, like, my heels were parallel to the edge of the mules, which made me question whether I should've gotten an 8.5, but it freaked me out a little because that's a whole size and a half up from my true size 7, plus the mules were too wide! I have elephant feet, so for any shoe to be wide on me says a lot about the width of that shoe. It was a complete chore to walk around the house in it, had to make the conscious effort to curl my toes just so they wouldn't slide off my feet. Aside from all the physical inconveniences of these mules, they were just too informal and sort of sloppy to walk around in. I asked my husband what he thought, just looking at these mules without knowing how trendy they were, and he pretty much said they look like something I should gift to my grandma. I agree. To grandma it goes.
