the black version is great!
I got this dress in black for anniversary sale and loved it so much I ordered the floral. Unfortunately the floral version looked frumpy combined with the dropped waistline. The black will be a staple in my wardrobe. I am 5.4, 140 and 36DD and the petite medium fit perfectly

Shapeless!
The fabric and pattern are ok, however the dress is shapeless, maybe because it is too big/too loose? I have other loose casual dresses that look like they fit me, this one (XS!) just fits at the shoulders, the rest is like 3 sizes too big. Have to return it!

runs small in the arms
got this in black as well as navy floral. the dress is cute but it is a bit small in the chest and arms. i am 5ft 1 in and weigh 127. i ordered xs. it is cute but when i look in the mirror from the side it looks like a maternity dress. perhaps i am too short for this dress. still debating on keeping or sending it back. please note it has no lining

Pretty dress with polish
I bought the black floral print. It's going to be great to throw on with tights and boots or heeled maryjanes in the fall -- pull it on, and you're done. It looks polished and flattering despite not having a defined waist. The buttons up the back are a nice detail, and the fabric is nice -- flowy without being flimsy. I'm 5'4" and thought the length in the regular size was perfect. The petite looked short. It runs pretty loose; I'm pear-shaped, small-waisted and relatively narrow shoulders, 125 lbs., and found the XS fits best.

They need a photo of this dress on a plus size girl, b/c this dress is a knockout. I wore it to work and got 5 compliments. It's super cute, love the ruffle at the bottom, and the cute button detail along the back. I'm a size 16w w/a 38G cup. I got an XL and it fits great.

Excellent purchase!
Absolutely the best purchase from the 2017 Nordstrom Anniversary sale. I love that this dress is machine washable and comfortable. My only regret is not purchasing the orange leave pattern and the black one. What a winner!

A Versatile Staple
I love the simplicity of this dress - it can easily be dressed down or dressed up and accessorized in countless ways. I knocked off a star because the fabric isn’t my fav. It has a slight sheen to it and is on the thinner side - not necessarily see-through, but rather not a heavy dress for winter. It’s still a staple for my closet and fits true to size.
