Will be very comfortable
Bought the red in 8.5. Love the color. Normally wear 8.5 when shoe gets narrow around toe box. I think I could have gone 8 with these. If you have a narrow foot, you may want to have a leather punch to add an extra hole. It was shipped on the second hole and the gap was big. With significant tugging, I was able to re-fasten in the last hole and it fit. Slightly loose with bare feet, but the leather is very soft and the sole feels a little cushy without having those bumpy pads that some brands are putting in these days. Me: normal feet (no high arch, no flat).
