Run do not walk

Oh my gosh! I swear when I think I’ve ever smelled it I think I had a teeny tiny orfasm. The smell is just it’s different it’s very different. I had a lady make me write it down for her the other day she wanted to know so bad what I was wearing!

I am extremely disappointed with my recent purchase of Amouage Guidance 46. I have purchased this same fragrance before from Neiman Marcus, and the quality was exceptional — rich, luxurious, and long-lasting. The scent would last all day, as expected from a high-end fragrance. However, the one I purchased from Nordstrom is completely different. The fragrance is weak, does not last, and the scent is not the same at all. It feels like a completely different product. This is very concerning and extremely disappointing. It is not worth paying $560 for a perfume that is not original and does not perform like the authentic version. I will be returning this item. I do not recommend purchasing this fragrance here.

I loved the original Guidance, especially during the dry down. Although I like the new version, I miss the strong, original scent. The updated version should have been better than the original. The old version is a 10/10 for me; I love the original Guidance. I don't regret buying the new version, but I expected a darker, stronger scent. Amouage Guidance was already perfect in the original version.

Better than the OG

This scent is WAY better than the Original Guidance! Is more fruity, sweeter, and woodier without being masculine. The pear and the apricot scent from the Osmanthus is divine! This is the best special night out fragrance. And the performance is outstanding, similar to the OG. A true masterpiece by QB.

not the OG

I was expecting a boulder version or something more complex than the original. I think it’s better for spring summer. It’s a little bit lighter. It does have a fresher note in it but I like the original and for the price difference there’s not enough change between the two.. the bottle is sunny don’t get me wrong. The juice is good. I just don’t see a big enough difference and I like the impact of the original.

Love

This perfume is not a stronger version of the original but an alternative for people that don’t care for the strong skin essence that projects from the original. 46 has a dry down that is slightly soapy or you could say clean. (I’ve seen other reviews complaining about the original) I personally LOVE both and get compliments every time I wear them! The dry down of this fragrance is amazing and it lasts! If you were on the fence about the original this might change your mind. I know it’s expensive but some of you might be worth it!

After 50 years of life, I can honestly say that this is the best perfume I have ever owned and experienced. The scent is simply incredible—the most beautiful, luxurious, and captivating fragrance I have ever smelled. I am beyond excited and happy with this purchase. I sprayed it on my hand as soon as it arrived, and even after showering multiple times, the fragrance is still there. The longevity is absolutely amazing, and the quality has exceeded all of my expectations. Without a doubt, this is the best perfume I have ever had in my life and one of the best purchases I have ever made. I am absolutely thrilled and completely in love with it.
