Mon Guerlain Body Lotion

So this is by far a wonderful perfume but the sillage I believe it’s called or the amount the fragrance lingers is notoriously poor -so- this lotion does the trick ! A little goes a long way. I use just a very small amount under my neck, behind my neck and décolletage and then spray a few sprays of the perfume and voila - it lasts and smells expensive and delicious. I think if one owns this perfume she must purchase this lotion. I think it can be used alone as well, but if you are going out and want to really smell heavenly than layer the two.

I purchased a pre-owned dress on ebay from a UK seller. When I opened the package, I smelled hints of a beautiful fragrance that traveled all the way from the UK to the US. I had to immediately contact the seller and find out what the fragrance was. I'm not sure if she sprayed some on the dress, or if she was wearing it while she packaged the dress for shipment. She told me she couldn't remember exactly what she was wearing that day, but she did tell me she uses 3 perfumes: Shalimar, Panther and Mon Guerlain. I bought all 3 from Nordstrom to see which one it was (I liked the scent that much to try to track it down!). It turns out it was Mon Guerlain! I ended up returning all 3 perfumes and purchased this lotion instead. The perfume was very nice, but had a strong opening. This lotion has such a lovely, creamy scent from beginning to end with no alcoholic smell, and light enough that it doesn't interfere with my allergies or give me a headache. It's also less expensive than the perfume. I rub some on my clothing & hair and the scent still lingers into the next day. Both men and women tell me "You smell so good! What are you wearing?" It's a great feeling to find your signature scent :) Thank you Nordstrom for great customer service and free returns!!!

I have been searching for the perfect personal scent. This one has hit the mark. I purchased the parfume first and wanted to added a little more lasting scent so I added this in. It's super light and silky with a scent that's not over powering. It absorbs in the skin quickly and doesn't feel greasy at all. I do have normal to lightly dry skin. I live in Atlanta where weather is unpredictable at best. This keeps my arms and hands super soft even with difficult weather. This is light weight so this is not going to be a deep moisturizer, it's more of a finishing lotion to add in the morning vs the heavier cream at night. I also have super sensitive skin and allergies which is why I have a tough time finding a scent I can actually use. This doesn't irritate either which is a total plus!

My daughter told me that this stinks and it smells like something a senior citizen will wear. I will admit that when I first opened it and wore it, thr lotion did have a strong perfume scent , which is something that I really wasn’t looking for. I wasn’t married to the scent, but I tolerated it but after the comment from my daughter, I think I will be returning this.
