What it is: A long-wear, buildable mascara that has multidimensional volumizing, lengthening and curling abilities.
What it does: Its unique formula infuses the lashes with lash-caring properties. After four weeks of use, bare lash fibers are longer, thicker and more curled. The soft fiber applicator is designed to make lashes look fuller and more voluminous after every stroke.
How to use: For a natural look, place the brush along the lash line. Apply one coat using zigzag movements from the roots to the tips of the lashes. For a more intense look, apply several layers of mascara to obtain the desired volume.

The new version of Maxi Lash
This is simply the new version of Guerlain's Maxi Lash, except for one thing. Maxi Lash had the dreamiest scent, and this does not. It has a more chemical, cheap mascara smell, not the smell of mascaras from upscale French brand mascaras like Yves Saint Laurent and Guerlain. Sigh. Otherwise, it is a wonderful mascara, and if you are like me and need brown, not everything on earth has to be black these days, then you will appreciate this mascara. It is lengthening, curling and volumizing without the ridiculous look of too long to be true like so many other mascaras these days. It does not cake, and it does not give you those thick, tarantula lashes either. If you like classic beauty, this mascara is for you.

the worst pricy mascara
I wanted to try a different brand of mascara and saw this one. Pretty gold packaging but the brush was frustrating. It kept clumping my lashes and I had to use lash comb to separate my lashes. More work for something that's supposed to be easy. I ended up throwing it away. I normally use Lancome mascaras

tiny pieces
In my ongoing quest for a mascara that will give me long lush lashes I tried Guerlain mad eyes. This mascara has a full brush it seemed like it would be effective. I do believe the problem my head with this mascara was the actual mascara itself. The brush would come out of the container looking well coated but that did not translate to coding my eyelashes. This mascara seemed to collect on my lashes in tiny little pieces. At the end of each lash there would be a tiny ball. I tried using less mascara on the brush and I tried using more mascara on the brush. I tried brushing out and I tried brushing back-and-forth. I’ve tried and tried. This mascara just seems to be made of tiny pieces. The quest continues.

Little treat
