What it does: With a fresh, light texture, it glides onto the contours of the face like a second skin to enhance beauty naturally all day long. Bio-Fusion micro-mesh, a unique combination of contouring and smoothing stretch fibers of natural silk and linen, is in total affinity with skin. It blends so perfectly and naturally onto skin that it can't even be felt. It mattifies skin while hydrating agents bring softness and comfort throughout the day. A blend of natural fibers of silk and linen weave a light veil of perfection and softness on the skin's surface. Smoothing flexible fibers adhere to skin and set makeup with lasting hold that stays put all day long. A Silk-Fusion complex combines a hydrating silk protein with a soothing textile extract that provides softness and comfortable contouring hour after hour.
How to use: Apply a few drops to your face and then, using your fingertips or a foundation brush, blend, moving from the middle of the face outward and down to your neck for best coverage. For an all-day second-skin mattifying finish, apply a powder to complete the look.

Even better than expected
I'm 40 years old, with combination skin, that is light natural in tone, with warmer undertones. I have some fine lines near the corner of my eyes that come with age and a few areas where I need an item that balances mild darker spots. I also have rosacea and sensitive skin so, I have to be careful on what products. I have never used Guerlain's foundation and I have been blown away by the coverage, feel and overall look of this. It evened out my skin tone perfectly without having to add additional layers. It didn't cake, settle into lines, or enlarge pores but still covered the areas I needed. I love the texture as well. It comes out super light and sort of a creamy, thin gel type consistency. I wasn't sold that it would be a one coat cover. I was so wrong. It took very little product to achieve what I wanted. I'm glad that was the case since the price tag is hefty.
Overall, I'm super excited with this one and will me go to. I only hope they never change the formula or color options.

Original Formula was Wonderful!!!
Re-formulation performs nothing like the original and nowhere near the beautiful, natural effect on the skin. New formula is drier, has less coverage and doesn't build well either. Leaves streaks no matter how applied - brush, sponge or fingers or what kind of moisturizer/treatment used underneath. Same streaks with or without treatments, etc. Not only was original formula the HG of foundations used by myself (I'm early 60's), but also HG for my 40-something daughter AND the HG used by my 20 year-old granddaughter - and we all used the same color. Now that is saying something positive when all 3 generations of women had beautiful results. When new formulation came out, all of us were so disappointed. None of us understand why it was reformulated, there were 100's of 5 star reviews on the original. There - I've vented. As far as new formulation goes, it's just barely o.k. - like I said, streaky and just plain dull and cakey looking. On the plus side, new color additions was a good idea so will give one star. Unfortunately for us 3 girls - well, we have all moved on and are looking elsewhere for the perfect HG foundation similar to what we once had with Lingerie De Peau. Probably will never find it again.

Bring back the original formula
This is not the Lingerie De Peau that received rave reviews, this new formula is disappointing. I don't understand why Guerlain changed it, this one does not provide the natural coverage and it is lifeless and dull. This is not worth the price so I will be returning it.

Disappointed with new formulation
Not so happy with the new formulation. Chalky and lifeless compared to the original. Will be looking for an alternative for me 60-year-old skin.

New yellow tone but disappointed
I have been using the old version of this foundation for years. Even though the old one doesn't have yellow tone as my under tone is yellow, it's till light and has enough coverage; and I love it. I love the new yellow tone of this version but this one is very thin compare to the old one and doesn't provide enough coverage. Please make it the same as the old bottles!

This was almost perfect
I had finally found my Holy Grail foundation after years of trying to find something that worked for my oily, acne-prone, acne-scarred, super-pale skin. This foundation looked beautiful on, gave pretty decent coverage and wore nicely all day. Unfortunately, because this contains chemical sunscreen, it made me break out with cystic acne. I wish companies would stop putting sunscreen in makeup, or at least use only physical (mineral) sunscreens (Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide.) Many people get acne from the chemical sunscreen Octinoxate (also listed as Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate on ingredients lists.) It's very difficult to find good foundations without it.

Great stuff but how do you know when it's gone???
I love this foundation for all the reasons others do: the way it feels, the coverage without looking "made-up", the pump bottle BUT, BUT, BUT I recently packed this for a week-long vacation in Mexico and the day after I arrived it seemed to be empty! I couldn't believe it. It looked the same as it always looked. How are you supposed to tell when the end of the bottle is near? I had to search around to buy a replacement and ended up spending $40 on something I didn't like much at all. It didn't ruin my vacation, but I wasn't happy about it and I still don't know the answer to how to tell when there's almost no product left. Otherwise I would give this five stars, but I offer only two in this review.
