Good performing foundation, medium coverage
4N: I have medium/tan skin, with neutral undertone (MAC NC40). Since this foundation settles down & oxidizes, I can do 4N for my winter shade. This is medium/light coverage. It is buildable, but it tends to look cakey if more than 2 layers. I break out around my cheeks (rosacea, eczema), so it's not full coverage and found my redness would peak through, so be aware it likely won't hide any acne/dark hyperpigmentation, unless you lay down some concealer. This is a great, light foundation that will go 4-6 hours. The only thing I really dislike is the perfume scent. Some can get used to it, but i seemed to either ignore it after 1 hour or the smell dissipated. Love that it has cleaner ingredients and I think no parabens and silicone which irritate my skin. I wish they made it without the perfume, as that might be irritating my skin, also.

Not for me at all
This looked really flat and pasty on my skin. Not a desirable look at all. It was too expensive to look that bad.

Essential is right!
Lovely finish with truly a natural glow - genuinely looks like "your skin but better." It wears well, too, sitting nicely on the face. My only issue is the scent. It's very natural, but almost has a citronella smell to it. I'm hoping with repeated use I'll get used to it because I do love this foundation.

Didn’t Work for My Skin
The color selection is excellent, so I had no problem there, and the mild scent dissipates quickly. For a skincare-based foundation, I think the price is reasonable. However, this product doesn’t work for me. (I really wanted it to!) The bottle and lid are creative in their design, but the width of the bottle makes it hard to grip when I use the pump. Also, the product doesn’t wear long on my combination, mature skin, and it doesn’t do a good job of blurring large pores. Of note, I don’t use a primer or any other makeup base other than a Vitamin C cream and sunscreen. Maybe if I worked a little harder to prepare the skin, the foundation wouldn’t disappear so quickly.

Beautiful coverage
This provides excellent medium coverage with a slight glow. Lasts all day and goes on so easily. This is probably the best foundation I have used, and having mature skin finding a foundation that looks natural but provides good coverage is not easy

Beautifully performing foundation
I bought the shade 02N , it is a perfect match for me. I am 33 with fine lines and wrinkles and live in hot and humid Florida. We have been experiencing some extremely high temps and humidity lately. I have a hard time finding a foundation that will stay on my top lip where my cupids bow is because it's the first place I start to sweat. This foundation stays on through everything, I've even been caught in the rain with this and it just doesn't budge. I like how skin like, thin, and light weight this feels on the skin but yet gives a solid medium coverage with a natural finish. It is a very pretty foundation and makes my skin look like satin silk. This doesn't sink into fine lines either. I also own the guerlain lingerie de peau foundation and I honestly prefer this one to that one because of the lasting power and the finish of it.
