Fragrance story: Inspired by the science of alchemy, Alessandro Michele reimagines the path of transformation from lead into gold with the art of fragrance. Iris is one of the most ancient ingredients in perfumery, and also frequently used in the makeup industry. For the scent of Tears of Iris, a noble owl is pictured in a sandalwood forest on a night with inky-blue skies. Adding depth and sensuality to the scent are notes of angelica seeds and musk. The owl watches the forest with its large, luminous eyes, which shine in the dark to recall an iris.

Elegance
Beautiful composed powdery floral fragrance that captures elegance. Performance is moderate and stays closer to the skin. You get the hints of sandalwood and musk that creep through underneath

Nice product
It has a medium projection. It smells nice and versatile for any occassions from casual to professional. The smell is musky and spicy in my opinion. I like it!!

Gucci love
I've been really enjoying experiencing Gucci The Alchemist's Garden Tears of Iris, and it truly feels like a luxury fragrance. I tend to gravitate toward more refined, high-end scents, and this one definitely meets my expectations.
The iris note is elegant, soft, and slightly powdery, giving it a very sophisticated and clean feel. It's not overpowering, but it leaves a beautiful, noticeable trail that feels very elevated and unique.

Luxury in a bottle
This perfume is unisex, that’s a perfect thing because me and my boyfriend been using it and love it. You can smell the sandalwood notes, one of my favorites, very elegant and luxurious. Definitely one of the must to have unisex perfume for couples or just for yourself

Nostalgic dewy powdery iris floral beauty
I love iris perfumes and I like this one a lot. This is pretty, feminine scent with medium projection. Its powdery and delicate. As it progresses it gets more powdery then woody and musky. This will make great spring time fragrance.
