The matte effect is never dull and stays fresh all day long without looking cakey. Infused with hyaluronic acid and black rose oil, the formula helps boost and maintain skin hydration.
How to use: Dispense one pump on the back of your hand. Dab a third of it onto your favorite tool (clean fingers or a foundation brush). Starting at the nose, gently pull it outward and blend in with circular motions. Add more if needed and apply to the forehead, chin and jawline.
Pro tips: Each shade has a two-part code: 1. A number for the surface color of your skin: Fair (1XX) to Dark (5XX). 2. A letter for your skin's undertone: C for Cool (pink hue, rarely tans), N for Neutral (pink and golden hues, tans sometimes), W for Warm (yellow or golden hue, tans easily), O for Olive (yellow and greenish hues, tans easily).

THE BEST FOUNDATION EVER HG
Omg this foundation is sooo amazing. I'm super super picky when it comes to foundation. I used to use Makeup forever ultra hd before it was reformulated and it was great. I stuck to it for years. It had a great natural look and the color was on point. Just enough yellow - not too pink. When it was reformulated it wasn't the same and they added the bad alcohol to the top of the ingredient list and it was turning my skin into a wreck. Thus I had to search and search for a new HG. I TRIED everything this past year : NARS glow , SURRATT ,CLE DE PEAU the foundation and RADIANCE cream, YSL, DIOR, LA MER foundation , ARMANI , HAUS LABS, CHANEL ( multiple ones), HOURGLASS, ESTÉE LAUDER , MAC, Bobbi brown , SUQQU, CHANTICALLE FUTURE SKIN, CUSHION , and tinted moisturizer , CHARLOTTE TILBURY, LISA ELDRIDGE, MILK, to name a few. I was becoming convinced I'd never find another foundation I truly loved and that sucks because without a good foundation the rest of your makeup doesn't look as good. The right foundation in my opinion needs to cover , be skin like, have some luminosity, not be cakey , and be THE RIGHT COLOR TONE. I'm happy to say Gucci hit it all. This is even better than makeup forever ultra hd. I also got the primer it's the Silk One. I think it's important to use it with it because this dries down to a more skin like almost powdery effect and without a good primer it may be dry or not go on as nice. I love the primer. It's a dream to put on. I use my fingers and then take a beauty blender to push it in. I found that the color 230 was the perfect yellow tone . I was wearing 245 in makeup forever with a pump of 225. In Gucci 230 is my perfect match. You won't be disappointed. It's gorgeous a unicorn. I have normal to dry , hyper sensitive skin that gets breakouts here and there , and thus far no reaction. I rarely post reviews but I wanted to help anyone out whose looking for a great foundation or a replacement for makeup forever ultra hd .

Great if you are orange!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the closest shade to my skin tone or so I thought however I am not an oompa loompa. I have never scene a decent foundation.Have this bad of an orange undertone. It does have a nice scent....

Orange undertone everywhere
I have a pale dry skin and this foundation doesn’t work for me at all. Too orange brand: foundation, lipsticks, powder. Everything has an orange undertone. My skin is very dry with this foundation. And it makes my skin worth then without it

Finding the right shade of this product was a bit of a challenge, but I’m happy with the result. I started with a sample and loved the texture, coverage, and finish. However, shade matching was tricky. The store’s “natural” lighting and mirror made it hard to see the true color, and the shade I initially purchased looked perfect in-store but appeared orange on my skin later.
The freelancer explained that the formula adjusts to your skin tone over time, which I was skeptical about. I decided to try a shade in the Cool family, even though I’m usually in the Beige range for most brands. Surprisingly, it worked! The product blended seamlessly with my skin tone.
I pair it with a concealer from a different brand, and they work well together. Overall, I’m satisfied with this product—it delivers great results once you find the right shade.

Absolutely Not
If you notice many of the reviews that speak well of this foundation were promotional. This foundation is like a matte mask on my skin. It is so MATTE that it almost dries down like chalk paint. It cakes up and is difficult to work with. Dries very quickly. This product is also full coverage. It sits on top of the skin and has a very thin consistently but then looks like you painted a Benjamin Moore flat paint on your skin. Full of pigment. Better to use as a concealer. Basically it's an entire ounce of concealer. Don't recommend and tried to go on YouTube to learn how to apply it but all the influencers had the same problem I had with it. This doesnt work for any skin type that I've seen.
