Tennis 1977 Slip-On Sneaker (Women)

I bought these directly from Gucci. They look great, I loved the look, but the sizing was just off. I purchased the same size I always do, but they were just a tad too big in the heel, but going up half a size I am fairly sure would have been too big. I think this is a shoe that I definitely think you need to try on in person before purchasing to get the right fit. And honestly, as gorgeous as these shoes were, given that they are glorified Vans I felt like they needed to fit perfectly.

originally i bought the 7.5 because that's what i wear in most of my sneaker slides and running shoes. plus the size chart said i am a 7.5 but it was way too big so i sent it back ordered a size 7 and its still is a little big , not sure if i should down size to a 6.5 maybe i will keep them and wear socks with them. i also ordered the brown ones to this they fit perfect in a size 7 the denim feels a bit loose.

This shoe is super cute and goes with so much. The red lines in it give it a little fun pop and they're very comfortable. Every time I've worn them, I've received compliments. With that said, the shoe runs large so you need to try them on for size. I normally wear a size 9US/40EU in Italian shoes. I ordered that size and had to return them. I bought the 8US/38EU because that was the only shoe the store had at the time. But I honestly think I could have gone down another half size. They are also a little wider than normal so it's just a bigger fit overall. So go down at least one full size and maybe down a size and a half. Someone said they're glorified Vans and I don't agree. I have Vans that I also love but the Vans are not anywhere near as comfortable as these shoes. I gave them 5 stars because once you get the fit right, there's absolutely nothing wrong with them.

These were so cute out of the box. As soon as I put them on the immediate ankle pain forced me to put them back in the box for a return. The material on the outer sides is higher than other slip on sneakers and hit my ankle bones in a painful way every step. There’s no way to work around that. It’s just too tall of a shoe in that area.
