The Painted Vel 201
This was my very first Gucci lipstick purchase. I was concerned about picking the right color for me as neutrals are what’s best for me. When I put it on it felt like silk sliding onto my lips. And the color? Omg! Beautiful & neutral. The color is the Painted Vel #201. I will definitely be purchasing more!!

Skin swatch showed this to be an almost perfect match for my all time favorite discontinued lipstick- Marc Jacobs Slow Burn, BUT.. in reality it looks, feels and smells like a $5 drugstore buy! Actually, I’ve had better $5 lipsticks than this one!
It’s impossible to apply it evenly- you think you’ve finally got it , then smack your lips together and it’s uneven again!! My first, and most likely last purchase of a Gucci lipstick :(

She’s luxurious. Bottom line. Point blank period. The packaging is just *chefs kiss*. I waited until I had a gift card, but I needed up buying 2! The shade I bought was Cimarron.

Good performance, bad campaign
I like the longevity of lipstick - it's very good and no drying in dry climate. What I don't like is that the color is not as pictured, too strong vintage bitter taste and that they use men as models.

Beautiful, Bright Colors!
So glad I moved over to satin lipstick because I was missing out! This lipstick is smooth and has rich pigment. I was looking for a muted shade of pink but Gucci makes very bright pinks and not many of them so I tried this one. It's a little bit more in price than I'd like to pay for lipstick but I'm a Gucci addict so I will manage. I hope Gucci makes some more pink colors for people like me who don't do reds!

Love the shade A Royal Scandal
The formula is lovely and A Royal Scandal is a great nude on me, but the scent is very extreme and off putting. I also would've loved the the cap to be magnetized, it's so expensive and it would've made the bullet more secure and luxe feeling.
