Guilty Eau de Toilette Intense Pour Homme

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have over 100 fragrances in my collection so I’m fairly familiar with everything from inexpensive everyday scents to higher-end designer fragrances. This one is definitely not for me. My first thought is that it smelled like something I would have bought at the drugstore in the 90’s when I was in high school. There’s a very cheap aftershave/alcohol opening, followed by a very feminine sweetness. I kept waiting for the dry down to turn into something more sophisticated, but it never did. I will give Gucci credit for one thing: this stuff has the survival instincts of a cockroach. I deliberately washed it off at least three or four times and could still smell it hours later. Of all my fragrances that I wish had incredible longevity, naturally this one had to be it. If you love sweet, old-school aftershave type scents, you maybe have a completely different experience. For me, it smelled cheap and dated. One thing is for sure, all you need is once spray every few days so it’ll last you a lifetime.
