GG Ankle Strap Platform Sandal (Women)

These are beautiful shoes that I ordered for a special event, but expect to get a lot of use out of them. First will say that the color is a little more pink and slightly less nude than it appears in the picture, but still gorgeous and very functional. They were incredibly comfortable. Did not find them too heavy, found that with heavy walking at the end of the night I did have some soreness at my small toe, but otherwise no issues the rest of the night. I loved these shoes. The antiqued logo against the pale pink leather, and the wavy strap enticed me. I am always a sucker for a good platform. These are the perfect height. I can’t say this enough, no matter what the price point, I will no longer wear uncomfortable shoes. There are too many beautiful, stylish alternatives available, especially at Nordstrom, and it is simply not necessary to ruin your day, and your feet, for the sake of being up to date. This shoe is everything I love. It is beautiful, and easy on the feet. But... they did not fit me. I’m a solid size 9 in many brands, and with these 9s, my toe just pushed to the edge of the sandal. I could see that a 10 would be excessive, so I had to return them. So disappointed! I have not owned a lot of Gucci shoes—in fact, I only have one pair, from several years back, and they don’t quite fit right. So maybe this is not the brand for my foot. If you are the right size for this brand, by all means, I recommend this sandal. It is exceedingly well made, and stylish, but just classic enough to last a few years. I am disappointed that I had to return them.
