Grand Goody Leather Tote

Received without the box I asked for as I stated it was a gift . Called Corporate and a very rude employee told me I never asked for a box. Probably the worst customer service person I have ever encountered as usually Nordstrom go above and beyond. That said, the bag was enormous and heavy. Definitely not anything someone could carry for any length of time.

I absolutely love this bag. I had been looking for a tote bag for travel for a while now. I wanted one that wasn't huge but wasn't too small either. This bag fits the bill. It on the heavier side BUT that, for me, is a great sign, means its durable and genuine leather. I also didn't think it was as heavy as people are reviewing. I have started carrying it as my every day bag. The leather is soft and it holds it shape. I love this tote!!!

I stumbled upon this gorgeous and functional bag in the Sand Dollar color at my local Nordstrom. It was sitting on the sale table. It was still $400ish so I didn’t initially buy it. But I did love it. The pebbled leather is hearty but malleable. The bag retains structure though. Bottom feet! The strap drop is 8”. The “Goldilocks” perfect strap drop (for me) - long enough for shoulder carry, but short enough for crook of the arm/hand carry. But added bonus - there is a detachable crossbody strap. Great organization with two outside slip pockets front and back (perfect for the larger phones). And three inside slip pockets and one zippered pocket. The minimal hardware is solid and quiet luxury. The bag has a full zippered closure. Smooth action. Although the dimensions indicate a large bag, it feels and looks more medium to large. But, my 13” Lenovo laptop fits with ease. The overall weight of the bag is doable (for me). The wider straps help with the weight distribution. I couldn’t get this bag out of my mind so I went back to Nordstrom and bought it. And to my surprise it was now 60% off! I love it so much I bought the Navy color. This bag really is the perfect tote bag. And it reminds me of a very expensive designer “Garden Party” bag but at literally a fraction of the cost! And compared to that, it can be a shoulder carry and has bottom feet! Oh and I would be remiss in not mentioning the thick and quality dust bag. This bag is Chef’s Kiss!

Thank you, Nordstrom! This tote arrived in two days - beautiful package - all hardware wrapped, etc. with original $648 tag -priced to $429 and now $259! What an amazing buy. The pebbled leather, overall presentation - shape, hardware are all impeccable quality. My only reservation when I bought online was the shade of beige. The color is gorgeous. Much prettier in person…more of a sand tone as its name. If you are on the fence, buy it. You won’t be disappointed. I have been looking at totes, from high end luxury brands to modestly priced brands. This one is a winner and a great deal at $259. It is not lightweight because it is good quality. It is not as heavy as others have said …but, yes, it’s solid. Size is perfect. A keeper. I can’t believe it’s not sold out at this price.
