Granada Sandal (Women)

I read that Birkenstock is under new management. Well if the changes they’ve made in the Granada are an example of what they’re all about, as far as I’m concerned, you can forget Birkenstocks. I’ve worn the Granada for years. I love it. It was my best fitting shoe and the most comfortable. This recent release, of which I bought both colors, does not fit the same. The foot bed is actually shorter. The narrow width is so ill fitting that it hurts the top of my foot. The buckles are cheap looking and material is so stiff it’s hard to adjust the buckles. Also, they changed the insole from soft to a weird hard composite that seems a money saving ploy. What a shame!
