Gramercy Messenger Bag

Within about four months of average to minimal use the edge of the leather strap started to peel off and it looked raggedy. When I first bought the bag (black suede) I thought it was the perfect bag. It's beautiful. I had been looking for a messenger bag but this was a very nice version and a step above that type of bag. I got a lot of compliments of it. The suede feels like it is good quality and the design is very practical and beautiful. It is medium size and I was able to fit a lot without it being bulky or too large for my frame. Unfortunately when it started falling apart I had to return it. I was a little surprised that the store manager gave me a hard time about taking it back. She said I should have kept the tags or that I should've brought it sooner. But I didn't have the tags because I thought I was going to keep it, AND I didn't bring it sooner because if I had known that it was going to fall apart, I wouldn't have bought in the first place. In the end she did give me a refund. I was disappointed that it fell apart but also that Nordstroms doesn't seem to want to stand by their products like they used to at one time. I'm giving it two stars because it really is a nice bag. Unfortunately it doesn't hold up. Maybe it was just a one off, but that's usually not the case with things.
