Gourmet knife

Pros: Extremely sharp, works well slicing vegetables, break. Cons: Too long, making it awkward to handle at time. Ideally would like the same knife shorter. More similar to the utility knife that was discontinued.

Wusthof Knife With a Plastic Handle?

I have purchased Wusthof knives for more than 20 years. I can not believe the brand would even dare to cheapen the quality with a plastic handle. I am moving on to a better brand...

Pleased with product; need some

Pleased with product; need some time to get used to the length; a little longer than Wenger grand maitre previously used. Very happy with sharpness.

Gourmet 5” Serrated Utility Knife

A wonderful addition to my kitchen. A real workhorse, I reach for it every day. Love the smaller size with serrated edges for fruits and vegetables.

Good knife

Almost 20 years ago, I was in Germany and bought a similar knife. I needed a new one and I have to say that this one rises to occasion. It is fabulous!

Sharp and well-balanced

I knew the serrated utility knife was the right knife when I halved a flaky croissant without tearing or having the layers disintegrate! It is sharp and well-balanced and easily sliced though tomatoes and other soft vegetables without the tearing.

Cheap

It’s overall just a thin piece of stamped metal. Feels cheap and low quality.
