Base Perfect Liquid Foundation

Ignore these other reviewers, who are basing their ratings on a color mismatch from a sample received. I was actually able to find my EXACT color (I'm a neutral white girl btw) and my life has not been the same since haha. In all seriousness, was on the hunt for a great foundation for a while, and randomly came across this brand. It has great coverage but looks very natural, and blends beautifully. I am a total convert.

I have never heard of this brand before, but I found it on Nordstrom.com. So I was in a hunt for a prefect foundation for my skin after using BB Cream for years! I am very surprised this is a pretty good foundation. Good coverage, natural, and it has a very pleasant scent to it. The texture is also very soft and non-sticky. It's a very nice product. The only down side is for me personally, it does not keep my face matte as long as when I use Chanel. It's not lots of shine, it's not too bad though. In conclusion, I consider this a new discovery of a good foundation product.

I received a sample of this in 2N. It was so dark and orangey that mixing it with white MAC F&B didn't do any good. It actually had decent coverage, though my oily t-zone was oily again within 1/2 hour. It doesn't appear that any of their shades are appropriate for fair skin with pink undertones, but it doesn't really matter because I would need a color at least 5 or 6 shades lighter than 2N. So if you're fair to light or at all oily, I would say skip this foundation.

I asked for the lightest pink-tone in this product,1B-BP. When I received it I swatched it on my hand and it was absolutely Oompa Loompa orange. I did not use it on my face because I knew it wouldn't work. I will be returning this. I gave it 3 stars because it reminds me of Mac's lightest (so called) pink-tone and people who like that product line may like this one too. It may work for someone but not me. It makes me appreciate true pinks like Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent.
