adorable, but small for the brand
I normally wear a 4 and bought these in 4 as well. I can make them work, but they are very tight in the hips. I would recommend sizing up one size.

A denim tragedy for apple shapes
If your waist and hips are around the same measurement, you may find yourself swallowed by these gigantic pants. My body is apple shaped -- broad shoulders, whatever is the opposite of a snatched waist, non-existent hips, tiny legs -- and these jeans are so unflattering that they may be in the top 3 worst jeans ever (which is saying a lot because a lot of jeans look awful on my figure given the non-existent hips thing). They absolutely overwhelmed me, erased my butt, and made me look 2' shorter. I think a good tailor could remedy them by removing about an inch of width from the waist down to the ankle. But I'm still looking for said tailor so will have to give these back. I'm disappointed because Good American is one of the few brands that reliably fits (that and Mother), but I guess we can't all live in a palazzo, and we can't all wear palazzos.
I did size up from my usual 12/31 to a 14/32 per other reviews, and I'm glad I did because the 14s were snug.

En español para mis latinas. Estos jeans son lo máximo. La calidad de la tela está increíble. Se nota lo bueno desde como te quedan y la hechura. Están súper cómodos pero agarran bien la cadera. La tela se estira lo suficiente para ser cómoda pero no para hacerse grande a las horas. Quedan perfectos y así se quedan todo el día. Yo soy talla 27 o 6 generalmente y me quedaron muy bien, poquititito espacio en la espalda pero nada wow. Cute but size up
I’m on the fence about these beauties because the 6 gaps a little bit at the waist the 4 was SO tight. I’ll have to cut them either way but they’re the perfect stretch and weight so I’m still debating keeping them.
