Goldenstar Cozy Clog (Women)

I loved these clogs. I bought them at the Anniversary Sale and wore them a handful of times until one side of the strap broke off. I wasn't doing anything crazy, but the gromet gave way. I contacted customer service and was told that I could not send them back (I ordered them online) due to the fact that they have been worn, and that the store would likely not accept my return. My local store has closed and I don't have one nearby. It looks like I'm stuck with slippers I can't wear. I always thought that Nordstrom took better care of their customers than this.

I bought these during anniv sale and was afraid they wouldn’t fit based on all the early reviews I read. But upon getting them in the mail today, I’m so glad they were WRONG! I could see how the toes might feel tight if you wore thick wool socks, but I think normal socks wouldn’t be an issue. Plus I live in CA so it’s more likely I will be wearing them without socks anyway. They fit like a true 7.5 to me and I’m so happy I don’t have to return them.

I ordered a size 7 (I normally wear a 6 in UGG but sized up based on other reviews), but I received size 6.5 in a size 7 box. Size 6.5 is too tight with socks on, and sizes 7 and 7.5 have already sold out from the anniversary sale. I was told by Nordstrom customer support that they will not offer a discount for a similar shoe and will not price match for a similar shoe due to their policies despite the whole issue being their fault. I’m very disappointed in the customer support I received and in how they responded to their own incompetence. The only resolution I was offered was for them to jumpstart a return for what I received if I didn’t want to return in store. I will make my next purchase elsewhere.

First I have to say these are super cute and I love them. I am a 6.5/7 in most shoes (7 is only if a shoe runs small or only comes in full sizes). So all my Uggs are 7’s and I have a little wiggle room for my toes in all of them. After reading the reviews I was hesitant to order a 7 instead of 7 1/2 but knowing I have a little space in my multiple 7’s I thought I’d be okay - wrong! Did 7’s fit? Yes! Were they comfortable? Yes! But something told me to see how a 7 1/2 fit because they fit EXACTLY. The fur makes it look like your foot isn’t hanging off. They only had black in store but that was okay to see fit to exchange my chestnut pair. When I say I went up to an 8…I mean it! The reviews saying go a full size up, they are right! While a 7 and a 7 1/2 fit and felt cozy, my foot still felt like it was hanging a little or just not where I wanted it in the back. When I put an 8 on it felt the way they probably should when you are standing flat with socks on. Im not right up to the back of the shoe and it’s much more comfortable. I have never in my life fit into an 8 but to get the full comfort of these shoes I think going a full size up is warranted, they are that much shorter than a regular Ugg boot. You may fit in your regular size but for me I think the full size up will give me maximum comfort. I ended up getting my chestnuts ordered in an 8, and also got the black ones I tested in store, they are pictured below. There is a bit of a ridge in the back so your foot sits in the shoe before you get to the ridge. My foot was right up against and almost on that ridge in 7 & 7 1/2’s. I feel like I’m safe in the 8’s whether I want to go barefoot in them or with thick socks!

I love these. Bought both colors. I have the non shearling version as well. I bought my normal size in these just like I did with my non cozy lined clog. I do not plan on wearing socks. They do mold to your feet and wear down a bit after breaking them in. I personally wouldn't recommend sizing up a whole size unless you plan on wearing socks. They run a tiny bit short, not "small" as in narrow. I would size up half a size as with clogs you usually have to go up half. If you're not planning on wearing socks or in "sport mode," be mindful about sizing up a whole size as they will likely stretch out and mold to your feet with wear, and will be harder to keep on. They do not make a 10.5 in these (rarely any shoe) so mine and anyone that is a size 10 only option would be an 11. I know that personally an 11 is too wide in the toe box for me in the regular version, and I can only wear those ones in sport mode otherwise they slide off my feet when I walk. An 11 might work in these cozy lined because these actually feel comfortable and snug and secure across the top of my foot in a good way. I can wear them without being in sport mode. My heels are near the edge but aren't hanging off. I'm 5'4 and wear size 10 shoes. I personally chose to stay with my true size because I don't want my feet to look any bigger than they need to be with an 11.
