I love them
I was really worried! Girlfriend collective reviews really seem to be all over the place, so I chose to make my first purchase from them through Nordstrom in case I needed to return it. The shorts are exact length where the are still flattering on short legs (I’m 5’6) but long enough that I wont chafe. The color is so pretty and even though it’s light they are squat proof so I’m really impressed. These shorts are not compressive at all but I don’t mind. The material is very soft! It’s true to size in my opinion (I followed the GFC size chart) I’m wearing an XL! I will buy more from them, hope Nordstrom’s sells even more of their merchandise

Super soft but unflattering!
These are super soft and the waist is TTS but the seam is super tight around your legs making your thighs look like little sausages. Very unflattering unless you have no inner thighs.

Waistband is tight - Size UP
According to the Girlfriend size chart, I'm a Small and thus I purchased a Small. They were super tight on the waistband when I tried to put it on. I purchased a Medium and the fit looks much better now. I don't like how they show VPL. I love the bright colors though - please stock more colors, Nordstrom!

cute but uncomfy:(
I found these to fit slightly small. I bought my usual size large, and these were uncomfortably tight in the thighs. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the same experience with these being soft as other reviewers:( the stitching was super scratchy and I found it to be super uncomfy. I thought about exchanging for an XL, but they just were not comfortable enough to even do that :( They did look super cute on tho!

great for intense workouts
Love these for running and hiit as they don’t ride up as much as similar pairs from other brands. Got the navy and they don’t show sweat at all
