Highlights

  • Best for: Normal skin
  • Light coverage

Details & care

What it is: A long-wearing setting powder that gives skin a flawless, radiant finish.

What it does: This lightweight powder locks in makeup, delivering a second-skin, natural look. The translucent formula transforms into a skin-matching veil of sheer coverage that eliminates light flash-back and doesn't cake or settle into fine lines. It layers effortlessly onto skin, blurring imperfections and leaving behind a long-lasting glow.

How to use: Apply using a sponge, powder brush or the included applicator. Blend the powder outward on skin for a fresh, natural finish over foundation, or wear alone as a blurring translucent powder. Add more layers to build coverage and use as a sheer powder foundation.

gorgeous finish

I always feel the need for a bit of powder no matter what foundation or bb cream I use. But after lightly powdering with other powders, I feel the need to use a moisturizing/setting spray to avoid looking "over-powdered". This setting powder is beautiful. It really does leave a "luminous silk" finish. (I am a medium-light complexion and bought "3")

Awful! Bring back Luminous Silk Compact

I was shade 4.5 in the Luminous Silk Compact but this one has a huge shade range void. Goes from 4 to 5.5. 4 was too orange and 3 even worse. 5.5 way too dark. Face looked like a disco ball. Too sparkly. Glow doesn’t equal sparkles. ?!?

try before you buy

If you have the chance to try this before you buy, please do! I did not so o had to order it and wait for it, only to be super displeased. I normally love all the luminous products, concealer and foundation. But this one fell way short. It has little to no coverage, highlights all my pores and wrinkles and just doesn’t provide like I was hoping.

Package changed and product is not the same

I bought this because l tried it last year and it left my skin glowing and beautiful. This time to my surprise l noticed that the package has changed and the product is very fine, with less coverage, and more shimmery than before. Very disappointing with the change. Also, the next day after l used it caused red marks on my cheeks. It was such a great product. I hope the change it back to what it was.

great

I am in my 50s and wasn’t sure if this would be for me. I didn’t know if this was going to be like a highlight powder , since it looks like there’s a bit of shimmer in it. The sales lady tried it in me and it was beautiful. It feels like silk and for someone getting older , we don’t want to highlight anything. It’s a beautiful natural soft color. Love it.

Beautiful and so Chic

This is a beautiful component its so very chic. The powder/highlighter hybrid that imparts a sheer glow. It comes in a double compartment compact, with pressed powder on top and a luxurious brush underneath. The compact is beautiful and sturdy. A separate compartment for the brush keeps the powder portion neat and clean. I absolutely love this product, it has became a definite staple in my makeup routine.
