Giorgio Armani Eye & Brow Maestro

Let me preface this review with a few facts. I am 71 YO. My eyelids are crepe-y and fold over on each other. I find age has brought an extra sensitivity to my eyes. By most standards I should quit using eye makeup all together, but I have enjoyed "dressing up" my appearance for so many years I persist. Most of the other reviewers give this product great reviews. I find that its best use for my eyes is as an eyeliner. As a liner it is easy to apply and without any primer it stays and stays right where I put it. However, it does not work as well as eyeshadow. It soon gathers in the folds of my eyelids which surprises me as I use Armani "Eyes To Kill" #27 and find it miraculously enhancing without any issues. As to Armani's brush to use for brows and lining, I bought it and use it. As others have said, you need to wash it with each use, but it does allow one to draw a great line. I have not been as lucky using the brow part of it. Perhaps in time I will get the hang of it, but then, my eyebrows have thinned and it may just be it takes thicker brows for this brush to work at its best.

I have used tons and tons of eyebrow pencils, gels, pomade from highend to drugstore. I am a person who always is looking for the new best thing when it comes to my brows. Well this product hit a home run for me. I can't even explain how great this product is. You can use it for your brows, or a dark base for eyeshadow. This stuff is magical that's for sure. I no longer look at new eyebrow products because this stuff is great. I actually bought 2 of these one in dark brown the other in blonde to make them look less harsh. I use the dark brown on the arch and flick it down then use the other for the front of my brows. It makes it look so much more natural....plus both make a wonderful base for eyeshadow. Armani hit a home run with this product!

This is a very nice brow gel that gives you a natural finish yet stays put for a long time. But, I find that it works best for people that already have fairly full brow like me. I have dark eyebrows, so I chose the color Copal (#6) to soften my looks. I mainly use this product to fill in sparse spots here and there and to help me achieve even brows that will not get erased towards the end of the day. But, I have to say that I was a little disappointed that I had to purchase the brush that is designed specifically for this item to make it work cause the other brow brushes that I have didn't work so well. So, while this product is great, expect to spend some extra money on the brush that comes with it.

I have tried almost every brand, every type of eyebrow product. I have shopped department stores and drug stores wasting more money than I want to think about. Eye and Brow Maestro by Armani is the very best. I have only used it as a brow shaper. My brows look well groomed, soft, and natural. The product is easy to use, convenient, and versatile.....I plan to try it as an eyeliner. I don't wear eyeshadow or need a root touch up. The color I bought was "06". I am happy to finally stop searching for a natural-looking brow shaper. Thank you Armani!!!!!!!!!!

I have become a big fan of Armani products and the Eye & Brow Maestro is no exception. I have had problems with other brow color and pencils in that they do not really create natural and full looking brows. This brow color really covers the gray hair in between tints and gives wonderful shape and definition to the brows. The color stays on all day. Highly recommended.

At my local Nordstrom beauty counter, I tried every single color of Eye & Brow Maestro offered. I ended up purchasing 05 (light brown), and 01 (black). At home, the brown color was easy to use, but it took a little practice to blend out the black. However, I am now able to get a super nice daytime look with both products. I am still working on an evening / smoked out look -- will take some more practice with a darker look to get it right, I think/hope. I also can use the 05 on my brows -- there is a sheen to the color -- it is like a medium taupe with a pearly sheen on lids, but it appears darker on brows. I am glad I tried them all in person to see how they appeared on my own skin and brows. They all appeared much darker on my brows for some reason. The product is quite long lasting - at least 8 hours, and I saw no smudging or creasing. Also, no fall-out, a real yay for contact wearers. Only reason I gave it a four stars --I wished there were more color offerings geared to eyes, not just brows. The grey color is like sheet rock coloring. It appeared almost white on the skin. I would've loved to pick up a beautiful medium toned grey with sheen for the lids.
