If you like this quality pair enough to invest in it, I'd suggest getting your size and tailoring to fit instead. The wide knit waistband slips easily, especially when you bend, to direct degree that you bend - there's no staying power whatsoever. I normally wouldn't go half this distance for a piece that doesn't fit, so that's saying something about the intended design and overall quality of material of this purchase. Light-colored pants of great material and construction quality, flattering design, and don't suffer translucency issues are rare, so if this works for you, it's definitely worth the investment - well, so long as the material lasts without pilling.

These pants are super cute, far better than the picture. While shopping at Nordstrom's shoe dept., an employee was wearing them. They looked so good on her, I had to try them for myself. I purchased the black but all three colors are gorgeous. For reference: I am 5'7 and 127#s. The small fit perfectly. These pants can be worn with so many shoe styles...The store employee wore hers with sneakers. I will wear mine with strappy sandals.
