Modern casual lux done well. Gorgeous material - thick with a slight sheen for a luxurious look and feel. Thick material means fussier material to work with - fashion design background, so I'm used to seeing that. Here, that added difficulty shows up in the ankle cuffs, where the material gathered at the cuff as it should, whereas the other awkwardly curved inward immediately before meeting the cuff instead, no matter how it was coaxed into place. I'd consider exchanging for another in hopes of avoiding the issue if another one existed in my size. Material is overly generous in the upper half before tapering slightly in the lower half, which accommodates more body types but can end up making many look bloated as result - me included. The puffing of thick excess material can also create an exaggerated hip that doesn't flatter. Hearing excess material might have many sizing down - DON'T: The thick material will actually puff out with greater exaggeration over the wide waistband when you size down - I'd ordered a XS and S to test the theory. If you like this quality pair enough to invest in it, I'd suggest getting your size and tailoring to fit instead. The wide knit waistband slips easily, especially when you bend, to direct degree that you bend - there's no staying power whatsoever. This is actually my big issue in deciding whether to keep the S pair I ordered, since nothing ruins a look like a clothing item that moves all over the place and turns your outfit sloppy just with simple movements. A reviewer had complained about the material being see-through. I wonder if they'd purchased the Alabaster white/ivory option. I'm curious to try it to see if it has translucency issues. I bought the Gray Skies color option, which has enough beige in it to stand out beautifully as a neutral addition to my capsule wardrobe, and the level of color in it means less worry about getting dirty. If I do keep this, I'm adding an inner waistband cord that ends in a clasp on the side to avoid awkward bulges as well as nipping both the inner and outer upper leg seams to remove the awkward floating hip curve and ballooned thighs this is giving me. I normally wouldn't go half this distance for a piece that doesn't fit, so that's saying something about the intended design and overall quality of material of this purchase. Light-colored pants of great material and construction quality, flattering design, and don't suffer translucency issues are rare, so if this works for you, it's definitely worth the investment - well, so long as the material lasts without pilling.

These feel and fit amazing. I was a little skeptical to purchase because the sizing had xl equaling a 10 or 12, but they fit perfectly. I typically wear a size 14/16. I can’t wait to wear them. They are very versatile, you can dress them up or down. Quality is good especially for the price.

These pants are super cute, far better than the picture. While shopping at Nordstrom's shoe dept., an employee was wearing them. They looked so good on her, I had to try them for myself. I purchased the black but all three colors are gorgeous. For reference: I am 5'7 and 127#s. The small fit perfectly. These pants can be worn with so many shoe styles...The store employee wore hers with sneakers. I will wear mine with strappy sandals.

Oh my these are splendid.. I first purchased the gold..the material is great quality..they are very flattering.. I purchased the black ones next..I’m a good size 10 and the large fits perfect.. I like my clothes not tight.. Can’t wait to get outta this world house quarantine and rock em..

It is stylish,silky and versatile. It can be casual or dressed up. I did buy xxs based on the other reviews that indicated the sizes run large. I agree. I am usually xs.

These are beautiful and cool but they run way too big. The waist is not at all adjustable and so it slides down. Looks a little too sloppy to justify keeping. I’m 5”2’ and usually wear size 6. Fabric was so nice.
