Gigi Sandal (Women)

I purchased these because a year ago I bought the slide version in saddle and loved them. I wear them so much and the color is great so I decided a back up pair like those was a no brainer. I just opened them and immediately noticed the leather, although the same color, didn’t seem as nice. I questioned whether it was leather. It says inside that it is. I could live with it. They fit and were true to size. What really is disappointing is that although the footbed looks the same as my original pair, but it does not feel as though there is any padding. Feels like walking on a rock. No thanks. Even on sale, I’ll pass. Like everything else they cheapened them and ruined them. Better take care of my originals. I’m giving them a 3 star because color and fit is fine. I personally don’t want to feel like I’m walking directly on the pavement.

I purchased these sandals this summer in the nude/tan option. Though it's only been a few months, the side strap broke off the other day. I work in an office and cannot wear these daily so the issue is not one of overuse. I am so disappointed. Do not buy these unless you want to replace them again in a few months. Do not recommend.

These shoes are very cute. I was really looking forward to bringing them on vacation. Luckily I had an opportunity to wear them before my trip. Unfortunately, after 2 1/2 hours they broke! I am extremely disappointed and will be throwing them in the trash. Don’t waste your money, these are too expensive to not even get one wear.

Not only is this shoe named after one of my favorite movies it's also one of my favorite sandals. I have bought a pair of these sandals every other year. If you wear them with everything, because they are basic and comfy, then yes, you too will wear through them that fast. If you want them to last longer, then get more brown sandals. To make them last longer than a couple years, don't do what I do, which is pull them off by sliding the ankle strap down your heel and stepping out of them, you will stress the elastic, which will eventually wear and snap. When you first put them on (if they aren't a display) they will be tight, but they will stretch and fit better by the end of the day and you will be able to adjust the ankle strap from "omg are my ankles that thick!?" to "this is better, I knew it wasn't me." I wear a 6.5 to 7 in sandals and I bought these in a 6.5, you want them to fit just right. I bought them in a 7 one year and they were too big and I flopped around all summer, I felt like I was wearing flippers. I also have high arches and instep which were not affected by the top strap/band. I have tried not purchasing these this year and I gave in because I found that I was borrowing my mom's pair a lot and she said "get your own you will stretch mine out with your hobbit feet." Which reminds me, they are good for people with a wider toe box area/foot whatever. Hope this helps.

I bought these in the white leather in my usual size 6.5 but they are a bit narrow. My foot in the front hangs off a bit to the side. That would make them uncomfortable for standing or walking so back they go. They don't seem particularly special for the price either. I don't understand why they are so narrow. If they were regular shoes they would be too tight. The length is right so going up a half size won't work. Disappointed as I like this brand.

I struggle to find shoes in my size that are a reasonable price (I wear a size 5), and these sandals are well-priced and fit well! I bought them in silver and they match everything. They are super simple and can be dressed up or down. I walk around a lot around campus and work with children in the classroom daily and these shoes are extremely comfortable. They have become my go-to sandal. I plan to buy these in another color or two!
