Gorgeous, BUT.......
Runs WAY too small. More like a junior size.
I'm 5' 5", weigh 136 lbs. and a LARGE is so........... tight.

Love! Love Love!

WHat a unique blazer and you can't beat the rice
I purchaed this blazer today in the deep crimson. Much to my surprise I had to go down in size from a large to a medium and it made all the difference in how the blazer fit. The large overwhelmed me and I was ready to pass on the blazer as the bustle in back just stuck out but when the fashion person brought it into ne in a medium it just looked fabulous on and I was so excited dto purchaes it with a lace top undrneath, though not the one they are showing with the outfit. I know I will get a great deal of wear out of this jacket and I can't wat till it cools down and I can put it on. It is just adorable and in the right size the back is just so flattering.

too expensive to return from canada
am in toronto, canada & recently ordered a number of blazers from nordstrom based on reviews.
this particular one looked cute w/ pepluming in back, and was looking for something a little bit different from the regular corporate blazer or normal cas look.
was ready for it to be casual -- able to dress slightly up or down.
this blazer, while cute, didn't meet my expectations on the sizing front. @ 5'6", average frame around 120/125lbs i thought i should size "up" from a small, based on buyers' reviews -- was almost going to size up to a large b/c sometimes i'm on the medium "cusp". nb: i am high-waisted, and sometimes wear petite even though i'm not a petite.
long & short -- too big in the shoulders and waist, but too expensive to ship back as i bought on sale.
will have to take to seamstress to dart in the waist and shoulders.

Fresh twist to traditional blazer
This jacket is a fresh twist on the traditional blazer. It's narrow and fitted through the bust and torso with a slight flare to the back. This jacket looks great with skinny jeans and a shirt. The small works for me because I have a very small bust. If you typically wear a small but have a fuller bust, you will want a medium.

wrong size
I ordered a size up based on reviews. I'm 5'8, size 8 and I normally order size M but ordered the L here. It was huge on me! I am debating ordering my regular size, but I think I will just wait until I can try it on in store. I love the details in the back, and I love the crimson color, so I really want this blazer to work!

Very cute - sizing a bit off
I have 2 Gibson jackets from last year and got them in a small. They fit perfectly. I tried on a small at my local Nordstrom's and it seemed too small in the shoulders. I later ordered a medium and I am swimming in it... especially through the waist/torso. They definitely seemed to have changed something from last year's cut. Not sure what route I will go... as it's a super, super cute jacket at what I consider cheap price! So I really want one with the new peplum hem.
