Best Walking Shoe You Will Find
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ghost Max L is the king of walking shoes. Made of durable, great-looking leather and perfect for heel to toe balance. I have drastic supination in my left ankle, and this shoe really helps stabilize my ankle and allows me to walk for hours. At 62 years old, this is the best walking shoe I've ever experienced. I've been a runner and walker all my life. No running shoe provides the brilliance for walking that this shoe does. Plus, it looks great! This shoe will not control you or your gait. It will give you the control and freedom to move comfortably!

heavy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband loves the regular Ghost model and has worn it for a long time. However, he finds the Ghost Max L significantly heavier, and he is unable to walk or run comfortably in this model.

Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There as I expected they're comfortable I can wear them all day no issues. I find that Brooks has always made reliable sneakers.

Runs small in length
Size runs small, too short.
I purchased these size 12 wide shoes for my husband as he wears a size 12 wide. He attempted to wear them for a day. They were tight when he put them on but he decided to wear them a day to see if they would stretch out. They did not. They seemed wide enough but they were too short. We had to find someone that wears a size 11 wide to give them to.

shoe still needs improvement
I tried something different then my regular addiction walker 2 that i have purchased for the last two years and this shoe is just not as good the insoles are comfortable. The shoe is a bit wobbly while walking and it just does not fit my feet well also it appears the soles in the front are starting to wear after wearing for only three weeks. I returned and bought another pair of addiction walker 2 these shoes hold up very well for about a year then its time for a new pair.

Feels slightly smaller/shorter than previous Brooks shoes, but stability is excellent.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wearing Brooks shoes for at least the last 10 years and have loved the fit, wear and comfort. My previous pair were Glycerin 22 and the fit was perfect and consistent with all my previous size 12 wide 2E Brooks shoes. These Ghost Max L fit differently. They feel at least a 1/2 size shorter and I have to really sink my heel into the back of the shoe and lace them tightly when I walk to keep my big toe from hitting the front of the shoe. This is the first pair I've ever had to do that, but after doing that these are great shoes. With the Glycerin 22 I was getting a little roll to the outside for my left foot as the shoe wore. I don't get that with the Ghost Max L as the Ghost's are very stable and are great performing shoes. My feet feel like they stay very straight and feel really well supported. I also feel like the cushioning in the Ghost is not as soft as the Glycerin and I like how that feels. All in all I think I just need to order a 1/2 larger if I get the Ghost Max L next time. The Ghost's seem to be wearing very well and we'll see how thye hold up as I get closer to the 250 mile mark.
