Built to ground every stride in lightweight cushioning, this waterproof running shoe sits on a segmented grip sole that moves easily from heel strikes to toe-offs. Strategic pops of reflective tape help keep visibility higher in low-light conditions.

Upper: Engineered mesh flexes comfortably with your foot. A thicker knit upper provides breathability and ventilation while adding temperature management. GORE-TEX Invisible Fit is bonded directly to the upper for a light, flexible fit that provides breathable protection from the elements.
Midsole Drop: 12mm. Classified as a high-drop measurement, it allows for more cushioning to absorb the impact of heel strikes.
Lower: DNA LOFT v3 cushioning infused with lightweight nitrogen puts plush, responsive comfort under every stride or step. Segmented Crash pad moves from heel strikes to toe-offs for smooth, distraction-free transitions.

Perfect for the PNW!

I had the non-weatherized version before these and the weathering makes ALL the difference. Living in one of the rainiest places in the US, dry feet is a must and these work so well.

Not a perfect fit
Fit small. I have custom soles that have fit into every pair of ghosts I have had except for these.

Very Comfortable sneaker
I have 'special needs' feet - my arches collapsed a few years ago after a bad attack of plantar fasciitis. My feet have recovered since but have never gone back to the way they were before. I had to make changes to the type footwear I choose. The sneaker that works best for me has cushioning but not too much, because overly cushioned shoes like Hokas trigger my plantar fasciitis, and so do sneakers that have little to no cushioning. It's been a challenge finding something that works. I was really surprised after wearing this sneaker - has cushioning but not too much, and confirms perfectly to the shape of my foot with a wider toe box. I wore it a bit indoors first and then to walk my dog and it made a big difference in terms of comfort. I like wearing shoes where I can feel the ground when I walk and this shoe is perfect. I typically wear a size 7 and 7 in this fit me perfectly. I have a somewhat narrowish foot but wear regular width. Highly recommend.

Feel custom made
Ghost 16 Weatherized are glorious. Fit and support are great. They put the spring back in my step. Weatherization makes me feel secure.

Great buy! Super comfortable!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was reluctant to buy these as I already have a pair of ghost 16 that are not the most comfortable around the toes. However, I have never had a pair of the weatherized so I thought I'd take the chance and buy a pair. Boy, am I glad I did. I absolutely love these! They have been the most comfortable Brooks shoes I've had so far. From the moment I put them on my feet. I even ran on the treadmill the first day I had them with no issues at all. I have several pairs of Brooks and these are my favorite as of now. I wear them everyday!
The only complaint I would have would be keeping them clean. I row a lot at the gym and got a mark across the top from the strap. I have not been successful in getting them clean. Other than that, they've been great!

Weatherized Version seems to stay cleaner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wearing Brooks Ghost for years. I primarily wear them with medical scrubs and long walks at lunch. I decided to try the "weatherized" version, as I can't seem to keep my light colored Ghost shoes clean more than a few days. These solved that issue. They are still perfectly white even after my outdoor walks (they are more of an off white, with light brown and grey detail). Still just as comfortable. I've tried the "weatherized" version many years ago and there were too stiff. These seems perfect.
