Love!
After my chi flat iron broke, I bought a cheap replacement at the drug store that literally fried my hair. So sad. I went for this one at the anniversary sale and fell in love. Buy it, you won't regret it! Plus, there's a two year warranty

Where is the temprature adjustment?!
I was very excited to purchase this iron with the great reviews I've heard from GHD but how can this be a universal iron for ALL types of hair? There's no temperature adjustment and according to the specs this heats up to 365 which on the contrary to what the instructions says it is not the right heat for all hair types. In fact, for my hair is like frying it and much higher than what I should be using. I wanted this to work so bad but sadly will have to return.

Not sure about the one I got
Like many women I've gone through so many flat irons. I currently have a croc and before that a Chi that broke down. My current one seems to be too hot for my now damaged (aka bleached) hair. My sister has this one and when I borrowed it a couple times it delivers the same even heat and leaves my hair silky smooth. I was done flat ironing my frizzy wavy hair in 5-10 minutes. So I finally decided to purchase one for myself. This one however seems a little different. I'm not sure if it needs to be broken down for it to work like my sister's Ghd but doesn't seem like it's leaving my hair as smooth as the other one does. I'm gonna try it again one more time and I really want to love it but sadly leaning more on to returning it :/

Newer models don't work
I've now owned three of these irons. The first one was maybe an original model- lasted me 8 years and through international travel. After it stopped working I purchased another because I loved it so much. Stopped working properly after a year and kept turning off. I had kept my original receipt and since Nordstrom is amazing with customer service they replaced it for me. Same situation! Barely a year and it died on me. This is with 10 min daily use, and very careful storing of the iron and cord. Sadly that will be my last GHD.

Ouch - Ripped Hair
I was not a fan of this straightener. As soon as I started using it, I felt it rip a few hairs out. I tried again and it kept grabbing on to some hairs and tearing them out, which was a little painful, but more-so damaging to my hair. I returned it, unfortunately.
