Word got out about the durability of the shorts—his triple-stitching technique handily conquered the tough Australian waves—and Billabong took off. Buttons

I thought they were so cute. When they came in soon as I opened the package, I saw it had buttons going down the front instead of a zipper automatically returned.

REALLY Short and Skimpy On

I purchase iterations of Billabong denim and their twill shorts every year- I’m in SoCal, so throughout the at my local surf stores in addition to Nordstrom- and this pair is REALLY short. I personally love the button fly, but these are significantly shorter than past iterations- the ‘cuff’ if I were to unlatch the stitch on the outward thigh seam only would add ¾ of an inch, and they’re simply too skimpy this year.
