Wow--I'm in love with this shoe!
I looked at a lot of chunky-soled loafers this fall. I didn't care for the exaggerated look that might be too trendy in another year, so I couldn't make a choice until I saw these. I think this is the first pair of shoes I've ordered that were perfect right out of the box, however, I was really not sure when I first opened it. They look narrow and rigid at first, and I wondered if I would even be able to get my foot in them. However, they felt like heaven from the first step, give me a little height, and look updated and current without making my feet look ridiculous. I would say it may be different for someone with a wider foot, but I ordered my usual size and it was perfect. The mushroom color is a nice neutral!

Comfy soles but didn't fit quite right
I SO wanted this shoe to work for me, but unfortunately the heel fit a bit odd where my heel would slip out as I walked. I found the front part of the foot to be a little snug, but wasn't worried about that since the leather would likely stretch. Unfortunately, they large heel part was a dealbreaker for me and I had to return these super cute shoes with very comfy soles.

Comfy and cute
Such a great loafer! Very comfortable, lightweight and on trend. Love! I typically wear an 8 .5 in sandals and will sometimes go up to a 9 for closed toe shoes and sneakers, however the 8.5 in these fit perfectly. I didn't even try on the size 9 that I got.

Good quality
I have been shopping for months for a comfortable pair of chunky loafers. Gentle Souls has always come through for me. Unfortunately, this pair runs wide. I am thinking that if I order a half size smaller they might be too short. Might still give it a try.
