Blake Knee High Boot (Women)

These boots fit perfect around my 14” circumference calf. They stay up, fit nicely under boot cut or wide leg pants, and are cute with midi skirts. They are more of a copper brown than true chocolate brown. Width is perfect for my average size foot. With a thinner sock, the size 8 1/2 fits fine; although my toes do barely touch the front. I’m normally between 8 and 8 1/2, so they run slightly small in my opinion. I have only worn them for a 3-4 hours at a time, and they are comfortable right out of the box. Suede is a nice quality in there well constructed as expected for this brand. Solid shoe. Now they’re on sale! Buy them if you’re on the fence.

I just bought these boots on sale. My main reason for the purchase was the width of the shaft. It still is not as narrow as I would have liked, but it will do. I love the back of this boot. There is stretch in the calf, so while it runs a little wide for me, I think this would fit a bigger calf really well. It is comfy and the suede is nice and soft. I do recommend, especially if you can grab it on sale.

I ordered 6 (yes, six) pairs of boots to try on from Nordstrom and these were the clear winners. They are comfortable straight out of the box and a perfect size 7.5 with nice wool socks. Most of the other boots were a bit snug or had weird toe boxes. I also have small calves and ankles and these were a perfect fit. Although the elastic in the back would probably ensure these could stretch to fit larger calves too. I was surprised that I liked the color so much (it's a bit more muted taupe in person). Overall, a solid buy, especially on sale.
