Gentle Micellar Antioxidant Cleanser

I've been using Micellar water for makeup removal for years, but I had not tried a gel until recently with this product. It works so much better! When I apply it, my makeup comes off with ease and my skin feels really clean after using it, not like I need to use an additional cleanser afterwards (which is how I felt with using micellar water). I use a full coverage makeup which can be more difficult to remove, but this product is definitely up to the task. My makeup comes off much faster and it leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed. My skin is naturally oily but has become more combination as I've gotten older and I found that this gel works much better for helping my skin feel clean and then other concerts designed for oily skin. The gel does look a little odd in the translucent bottle, but it works well enough that it doesn't bother me a bit. I definitely recommend because I got to try if you're looking for a new cleanser. I love this cleanser, and that is saying something based on my past purchases. I am admittedly a skincare snob so I didn't have high expectations for this line of moderately priced products. The cleanser is hydrating without making my face greasy or dry. I love the texture and a little goes a long way. I turned 55 last year and I finally went to a dermatologist for the first time ever, and got a prescription retinol for some fine lines. Because of the prescription retinol, I had to stop using the other night time active ingredients I was using. I decided to use this as an opportunity to simplify my skincare regiment and wanted to find effective products without all of the irritating actives. Because of the moderate price point, I didn't have high expectations but I was wrong. I am Very Happy with this line of products.
