Great socks!
I wear a US women's 11 or 12 shoe and was so pleased to find these socks in two sizes. The larger size fit very well and the socks are actually tall enough to cover my entire calf. Nice lightweight wool makes these socks wearable for the vast majority of the year and the light compression is comfortable.

Not a sock for anyone
I was excited to find a wool-blend compression trouser sock, so ordered the size recommended (9-11, the standard size recommended for a 5’6 145 pound with shoe size 8). The foot part was sized for a male foot sized 10 with 2.5 inches of extra material not filled by my foot. Also, while I love compression socks/ hosiery/ trouser socks, the leg part (the compression part) of these socks was so tight I could not pull it over my normal-sized calf. Returned them immediately!!! Not recommended for males or females with a normal-sized calf and foot.
